A zine (or fanzine) is a physical or digital self-published book that is available for a limited time*. In fandom spaces, the contents of the book are typically created by multiple contributors, whether it be illustration or writing.

Anybody from the FFXIV community can apply as a contributor to this zine! Although we are a project primarily based in the Philippines, we welcome anyone at any skill level to apply, especially our fellow Southeast Asians! Before applying, please bear in mind that all zine items will be shipped out from the Philippines, making logistics for compensation more complicated for those based in North America (United States and Canada). Also, please note that our donation recipient– ALRES Philippines– is a non-government organization (NGO) working in the Philippines.

Any NPC that has some mentorship under their belt. This can be as literal as a class/job mentor NPC, or a story NPC with mentorly qualities such as Haurchefaunt.

Romantic ships are not a focus of this zine and will not be included.

Yes! However, make sure that the zine submission’s focus remains on the NPC you shall feature in your work.

Yes, but we will require buyers based in North America (United States and Canada) to organize a physical zine group order to reduce the costs of international shipping.
